Sold the Gold for Hope


 In this post I have decided to tell a story about the support in the sport.This is not going to be a usual story of how someone reach the top of the ladder.This is going to be a story of how someone decided to give up their gold medal to raise money for a sport fellow.


Story about humanity, support and hope.

Out of all the competition and gold race this story will show us the meaning of the gold medal,the meaning of  life and the meaning of help.
Last week the bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics athlete Katrin Taseva announced in the social media that her gold medal and clubs with  which she won the World Championship, are for sale.The reson for this was a sportman who was diagnosed with cancer, and the only way to save his life is by amputation of his leg.However his family finds another way of treatment abroad,but the treatment would cost a lot of money.This is where the Golden Girl Katrin Taseva, decides to help to the young professional sportsman Ivan Todorov by trying to sell her medal from the World Championship this year.
The medal was sold for 10 000 Bulgarian levs but the money are still not enough.The raising of money still continue around the country with different tournaments to help to the young man have his life back.
I have decided to tell this story because the world needs examples like this.In this world of competition and ambition ,the world needs to know a story about love and meaning.I am hundred pecent sure that this medal of her, will have much bigger meaning than it had before, and the society will remeber her good deed more than woul remeber the gold medal.I hope we see more cases of love,help and humanity.
